In many dog sport circles, we discuss the balance of drives...being food drive, prey drive, etc.
I would argue that my dogs also have a very strong cuddle drive. ;-) Whether or not it is important for dog sport is negligible....
Typically we do not allow dogs to sleep on the bed, however there can sometimes be some lenience with the "rules"... (at least for a few hours until I want to go to bed)
