Christmas Break

....And a new house!

We have finally moved to our new house and are thrilled to be here. It has a rather large (for the city anyways), fully fenced backyard with tonnes of space for the dogs to play in!

While many of my friends with GSDs frolic outdoors with their cold hardy dogs - my two dobes enjoy many evenings and afternoons sleeping by the fire. Not that I am complaining, I too enjoy above freezing temperatures when venturing outdoors for long periods of time.

A rare instance where you might see the two of them cuddling close to each other ...

Goals for the 2011 Season
- make Dieters recall perfectly straight
- teach retrieve over a-frame/jump
- continue to build drive for tug
- introduce "junior" and incorporate as part of training tools
- attend another Dean Calderon seminar
- Bh, OB1, TR1 (if not SchH1)

Dieters dentist appointment to check his teeth is coming up soon - February 1st! We will have a far better picture how things have developed and if he should continue with bite work. Fingers, toes and paws crossed....

  1. Congrats on the new house!

What is "junior?" I thought maybe a puppy, but the rest of that point threw me off!

I hope Dieters teeth get the OK to continue bite work.
